Theatre: TWODS, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Why bother? Local company TWODS stages the Roald Dahl musical, with "Pure Imagination" and "The Candy Man". It's a good family theatre trip before panto season arrives.

When: Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 November, 2pm and 7pm

Where: Assembly Hall Theatre, Crescent Road, TN1 2LU

Price: £25

Good to know: One of the Thursday 19 November performances is BSL-interpreted, so check which when you book. Running time is about 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
